Need FYP student

Baru bulan november lepas naik lecturer.. and bila jadi lecturer kena amik student final year project sbb it is one of the aspect yg perlu capai dalam KPI.. I was like so worry sbb I taught foundation before so I never had a chance to meet degree students.. and this sem lah baru start mengajar degree.. Semua org ckp takpe kalau takde FYP student pun.. but I really want to have FYP students because it's one of the new thing that I haven't try. And in my mind, the only topic that I could think of it's either buat genetic algorithm like my research masa master atau buat robotics.. which something that I did masa degree punya FYP (final year project) 

Then suddenly meet one of my students.. kebetulan dia pun tgh cari supervisor.. and dia pun sgt kebetulan berminat nak buat robot.. I was so happy sbb ada org yg share interest yg sama.. Alhamdulillah.. Tapi dia tak confirm lagi.. esok dia akan confirm whether dia berani tak nak teruskan dgn project ni ke tak.. Hopefully kalau dia setuju.. I would want to let him try to make a soccer junior robot..  Robot yg boleh main bola.. During my time.. I just make the robot trying to find the way inside a maze. It will look like something like this..

Wish yg dah digranted

Alhamdulillah.. Pagi2 dah dpt email yg menggembirakan.. bila my supervisor email and bgtau our journal dah been published.. As been told by the website.. that is an ISI journal... ;).. Sgt melonjak2.. setelah setahun takde paper.. too busy with everything.. tahun ni nak pull out everything.. InsyaAllah try to send the FRGS grant plak.. Kalau dpt mmg la bersyukur yg teramat sgt!

First Job of the Month: Survey Harga Untuk Hantaran

Hello everyone!

I'm sick for like 9 days now but getting better.. but work life is not getting better.. Suddenly my exam is finished yesterday and I have like 4 stack of envelopes waiting to be marked in a week. I want to have leave tomorrow but it is not approve due to we have talk tomorrow on research proposals or whatever.. and add up to that I have to go Kuantan tomorrow for my cousin's wedding.. How can I finish marking?

Ok dah! so berbalik pada citer wedding aku... Oh seriously I don't know what to do?.. My WP is sometimes forgetting the details that I need.. and I have to keep reminding them everything that they have to include.. And now I'm still waiting for their latest QUOTATION.. and still waiting for their call untuk amik ukuran baju..  Should I freak out?.. Can they make the dress in 5 month?? And didn't forget any details about anything that I ask.. We shall see..

What should we do first actually?

1) Kursus kahwin -- DONE

2) Hantaran hunting -- Not sure bila patut beli.. Bila lagi eh ada sale?

     Need: Cincin, Kasut, Jam, Perfume and Kemeja..

Google and tgk jam2 ni.. Wow cantiknye GUCCI.. The 2nd and 3rd pic.. tapi the first one pun cantik jugak,, Yg fourth sgt girlie.. Yg last tu unknown jam ke bukan??

Lagi? Ada lagi ke? Ble gitu tak tau pape?.. Haruskah pergi survey skrg.. Minggu ni patut ada pameran pengantin kat SACC mall kot Shah Alam, tapi takleh pergi plak.. ada wedding,, Nak tgk apakah deco yg latest.. Emm rasanya dah patut g tgk kat shopping mall kot skrg.. Calon2nya adalah:

4) Sunway Pyramid

5) Jusco Cheras Selatan

6) KLCC

7) Mid Valley

Ok cukup la tu.. So until end of this month my job is to survey.. Will update on the price later

Bulan Februari -- Feels Ambitious

Finally! The carrymark calculation dah siap.. Bolehla lepak sampai minggu depan.. Tinggal nak jaga exam.., then marking and submit marks.. Next sem ada dua lab jek.. Yes!.. jaga lab paling termudah.. sbb takyah pk nak buat quiz apa..nak pk midterm nak buat apa.. then students so far cuma 55 org.. one of the smallest group yg pnah ajar.. biasanya every semester mesti cecah 200 students.. Fuh next sem mmg lepak.. Bahagia...

Tapi bebaru ni mmg bnyk sgt benda nak buat.. tak sempat nak update entry diet ku.. Entah apa la dah jadi.. Tapi berat still sama.. Kali ni ingat nak update per week jela.. Mudah. Tak membazir space.. huhuh..

Setelah berfikir2 sekian lama.. akhirnya aku dah decide nak sambung PHD under biasiswa Universiti.. so tunggu sampai turn aku.. then boleh apply cuti belajar.. dan gaji jalan.. tapi nak tunggu pun lama dlm 9 tahun kot baru la sampai turn.. sbb tak rasa bole focus semua benda dlm satu masa.. Skrg nak focus kelas ngan research pun tak mampu.. apatah lagi kalau kawin. sat lagi kerjaya ke mana, keluarga ke mana.. Biarla lmbt asal selamat.. Then apa yg nak di buat skrg ialah.. try to mohon semua funding yg ada.. kalau IPTA funding diaorg nye research tak main la MOSTI ke, FRGS ke..yg dlm Malaysia.. Diaorg nak international funding..(Gempak tak gempakla).. Kitaorg ni still MOSTI ke E-Science ke masih diambil kira.. So I want to start dgn apa yg nak di study dulu.. then try mohon FRGS ke sampai dpt.. Then bila dah pandai buat research sendiri.. n sambil2 ada students yg buat final year project.. so menambahkan lagi pengalaman untuk buat research and projek2 kecik... Hopefully akan menambahkan kepandaian untuk further PHD nanti.. dan jugak.. bole tau which will be my research area yg paling diminati..

Dlm uniten, ada sorang ni kot yg sgt bole jadi idola.. younger than me.. but sgt ambitious... dah start sambung PHD.. part timer.. it is not easy to be part timer PHD.. Sbb have lots of work.. So kagum betul ngan dia nih.. Hope to be as successful as she is..

Surat tawaran as pensyarah

Check pigeonhole and suddenly dpt surat yang sgt besar dari HR.. Alhamdulillah..Dapat jugak akhirnya..Tawaran  jawatan dlm perkhidmatan universiti sebagai pensyarah.. But still dalam tempoh percubaan dlm setahun.. Kena buat pembentangan kertas kerja and penerbitan-penerbitan ilmiah.. then barula bole dpt confirm..

Thank you Allah.. I know I have been blessed..

Do the writing yourself.

It's 5 pm.. Time running so fast today... The floor in level 3 seems empty.. due to everyone taking a long break..I was marking the quiz that I gave yesterday.. Not bad for the first attempt.. I am scared actually.. because it is so quiet in here... I love quiet but not too quiet.. Even I can hear the clock ticking and my stomach rumbling huhuh..

I have perform some tests for my first research.. and it doesn't have any significant results.. What am I going to do with it.. How can I concluded the tests.. I will try to make bar chart to notice if there is anything important to prove.. But I did not know whether I will like the result or not..

Sometimes as freshies u don't know how to do certain things. How to get to job done.. efficiently and excellently.. And sometimes there are no one to help too.. But actually that is why they hire you.. So that you can settle your own problem.. getting the job done.. How you do it?.. It's up to you.. Sleepless nite, Googling all nite, reading until you have panda's eyes, who cares? as long as the job is done!

Right now I'm having problem to write papers.. I had wrote some papers back then in my master's but at that time the supervisor will review it for me.. Master is like the internship time.. Someone will back you up.. You don't have to know whether your writing is good or not..People will check it for you.. Now I am on my own.. I have my own research to think, write and review my paper's on my own (Actually I'm too scared to send it to any conference because the fear of rejection). Going to write the abstract is challenging enough.. how do you if abstract is too abstract or too details?

You know what I shouldn't be babbling in here.. Better if I go and googling some of the papers and see samples so that I can write a good paper.. A good source maybe the IEEE or ACM.. Good luck to myself!
